RCA to RCA Short Interconnect — Handcrafted DAC-to-Amp Stacking Cable
The Sound of Excellence
If you're stacking a DAC and a headphone amplifier on your desk, the cable connecting them matters more than most people realise. The typical RCA cable that comes in the box is generic, long, and coiled — introducing unnecessary resistance and signal noise into a chain you've spent serious money on.
The Headgear Audio RCA to RCA Short Interconnect is a purpose-built, short-run stacking cable designed for exactly this use case. At approximately 8 inches (~20cm) long excluding connectors, it sits cleanly between your DAC and amp with no excess cable pooling behind your desk — just a direct, low-capacitance connection that keeps your analogue signal path as short as possible.
Handcrafted with OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) conductors and 24K gold-plated RCA connectors. OFC minimises resistive and capacitive losses over the signal path — particularly relevant for line-level analogue signals where a generic cable can audibly soften dynamics and imaging. The gold plating on the RCA plugs prevents oxidation and maintains a low-resistance contact point across years of use.
Sold as a stereo pair (Left + Right). Ideal for pairing devices like the Schiit Bifrost + Asgard, Topping D90 + A90, iFi Zen DAC + Zen CAN, or any DAC/amp stack using standard RCA line outputs and inputs.
