Will it work straight out of my phone?+
Yes — at 16 Ω the IE 300 runs directly from a phone or laptop headphone output, and the in-line remote/mic works for calls on compatible devices.
How does it compare to the IE 200?+
Same driver and frequency response range, but the IE 300 uses a fully detachable, higher-grade MMCX cable with an in-line mic, versus the IE 200's simpler entry-tier cable.
Can I use a balanced cable with it?+
Yes — Sennheiser sells balanced 2.5mm and 4.4mm cables for the IE 300 separately, in addition to the stock 3.5mm cable, since the earpieces use standard detachable MMCX connectors.
What does the warranty actually cover?+
2 years from Sennheiser against manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice — Headgear Audio handles the claim on your behalf as the authorised seller.
