The IE 200 carries the same 7mm TrueResponse extra-wideband driver philosophy as Sennheiser's higher IE models into a smaller, lighter shell — with a detachable MMCX cable so a worn cable doesn't mean a worn earphone.

Yes — at 18 Ω the IE 200 is designed to run directly from a phone or laptop headphone output with no amp needed.
How does it compare to the IE 300?+
Similar driver and frequency response, but the IE 300 adds a fully detachable MMCX cable with in-line mic and a more refined shell finish. The IE 200's cable is styled similarly but is a simpler, entry-tier build.
What sizes of ear tips are included?+
Silicone and memory foam tips in small, medium, and large — plus adjustable ear hooks for a secure over-ear fit.
What does the warranty actually cover?+
